Born and raised in Wisconsin, Evan graduated from Edgewood College in Madison with a concentration in Finance and was a 4-year academic All-Conference member of the golf team. After graduation, he made the decision to relocate to Naples, FL where he has resided for 15 years. Evan was elected to the PGA of America in 2013 and has quickly moved through the ranks as an Assistant Professional at Chenequa Country Club in Hartland, WI, and Island Country Club on Marco Island. He then took his next step as Head Professional at Countryside in Naples, and most currently as Head Professional at Hideaway Beach Club on Marco Island before accepting his current role here at Naples Lakes. He represents Naples Lakes as one of less than 2% of PGA Professionals who have earned his PGA Certified status in all 4 concentrations through the PGA: Golf Operations, Player Development, Teaching and Coaching, and General Management. He is currently about to begin the process of achieving the highest honor the PGA recognizes of Master Professional. His excitement of the game and creativity for turning a simple event into something special has allowed him to create a lasting impact on every club he has been at. Evan is married to his wife Bethany, and together they have two children: Ryder and Kayleigh. When not enjoying the company of his family, Evan’s passion is chasing after the best fishing opportunities that South Florida has to offer.
